March Madness

Well, it was March Madness time and if you know us we are huge basketball fans.  Sadly this year we felt that March Madness was fun to watch but not as crazy as last year.  We had the opportunity to go the Bridgestone Arena here in Nashville and watch the NCAA first round tournament. I was excited because the Texas Longhorns were in town. I served my mission in San Antonio, Texas but my first area was in Austin, home of the Longhorns.  It was very fun to watch in person the games.  We basically spent all day that Friday there. 

Also, our school MTSU or Middle Tennessee State University got invited to the NIT tournament and got to play at home.  MTSU played Marshall, then went to play the University of Tennessee in Knoxville and beat them.  They had another game at home to play Minnesota, sadly we lost to them but it was such a fun exciting year to watch.  Granted there not BYU but they were fun and pretty amazing this year. I must say I am sad that basketball season is over but there is always next season.
