Two Year Anniversary

On July 21, 2010 I married my best friend.  I cannot believe we have been married for two years now.  Our anniversary landed on the first day of a family reunion on Jason's side.  So, we celebrated the day before.  We were driving to Mrytle Beach, South Carolina and spent the night in Greenville, SC.  It was a little town that was nice.

We ate at Great Steak sandwich place in the mall and enjoyed spending time together.  Jason got me the new Zumba 2 game for the Wii, a sweet card and a Caramello bar. I helped pay for some new dress shoes for his work.  I am so happy that I married my best friend and that we can have fun doing whatever.  It has been a great two years and I look forward to many years ahead.

Faith, prayers and love

I have to say I am grateful for trials even though they test your faith and stretch you. Luckily, I have my best friend and husband Jason by my side.   We have both been graduated for a few months now and luckily the place that Jason did his assistant ship kept him beyond graduation. Jason has been applying to many jobs and has had many interviews but no job offers yet. He has so much to offer and I know the right job is out there and we just have not found it yet.

We are trying to be patient and keeping our faith and trusting in the Lord to place a job in our path.  It has been very comforting to know that someone like the Lord is in charge of my life and if I just trust in him that he will provide a path for us and our future.  Thank goodness we have both had jobs to support ourselves.

We are both ready to move on and excited to see what the future has in store for us. Thank you to all our family and friends for your support and prayers.  I know we feel them and it is what gets us through trials. Many times I have felt like this lamb in the arms of our Savior. I can feel his arms around me.

CMA Fest 2012

River Front Stage

This year we went to to Country Music Association Festival that happens for four days in downtown Nashville. We spent all day Saturday June 9th at the festival.  This year it was hot but not as hot as years past.  We went and enjoyed ourselves.  There was free ice cream, Jack in the box burgers, free t-shirts, and free give aways.

We also had fun in the Play Station truck. After a few hours we spent many hours playing NHL 2012. It was very cool.  We spent time in this crowd listening to free music on the river front.  It was a full house and very fun. Unfortunately, we did not get to go to the concerts at night but its okay. They were sold out pretty fast this year. Jason and I had fun and it was all for free.  It was bitter sweet time because we may not be in Nashville next year for this if a job offer takes us elsewhere.  We love Nashville and all of the country music it has to offer.

My Preschool Job for Two Months

A few weeks after graduation I was offered a job at a preschool with three year olds.  It was a great experience and I loved the kids I worked with.  I learned that three year olds have a lot of energy and how to change pull ups.  I had never done that before. I learned to teach with a curriculum that was made for me and come up with crafts that dealt with the subject we were learning.  I loved the children and the sweet things they would say like, " I want to go to your house and play." It was so sweet.

Unfortunately after two months I had to leave because it was not quite the right fit for me.  But, I am so grateful for the people I meet and the sweet children I was able to meet.
